Metamorphe: Transform ideas into reality
Metamorphe Media collaborates with change makers and industry innovators both locally and internationally, from ambitious startups to established enterprises. Like their name suggests they transform ideas to reality with creative and data driven decision making. They help brands dominate the digital space. The team brings a wealth of experience across strategy, design, content, and execution.
They also have a physical studio where they give creatives the opportunity to use high end tools and comfortable spaces for an affordable hourly rate. The space can be used for photoshoots, podcast recording, video content creation and more. I was commissioned to create a website that makes their creativity and pattern of excellence shine through. They also wanted a solution that enables creatives looking to use their studio be able to book sessions from the comfort their homes.

A new Meta
Project Discovery
My friend Adeola Adepoju, a very popular content strategist and digital marketer, had a brilliant idea of creating a media house where they would offer digital services such as design, content creation, editing, web design (among others) while also having a physical studio offering photography, content creation, and podcast recording.
She invited me to a meeting where we brainstormed on how the business would run and how she wants the website to function like. We agreed the website would serve two functions, firstly giving information about the digital services they offer and also showing site visitors what their physical studio is like and allowing them to book sessions online.
The Plan
Adeola is a very detailed individual, and she really impressed me. She wrote down the tiering and detailing of every single service they were offering by hand. This was at least 12 pages of clearly structured content. This made it so much easier to set up the site structure and get the content that would go in each page.

Creating a Brand
The next thing we needed to work on was the Visual Identity. She already chose a perfect name - Metamorphe, so I recommended Elvina, my long-time friend and expert Brand Designer, to create a brand kit that would be unforgettable and attention-grabbing. I must say she did a fantastic job.

A site fit for a studio
After creating the professional emails and sharing the details with the team via docs, I jumped straight into Wordpress to begin building.
Due to time constraints, I didn’t design first in Figma or gather a moodboard for this project. I relied heavily on my experience and intuitions (with a lot of help from Freepik in getting beautiful images). Elvina chose a beautiful brand typeface (Archivo) and I let my decisions in the moment guide me on the art direction. I had a strong idea of what I wanted: A strong layout, premium pictures, clean micro-interactions, lots of whitespace, and smooth motion effects.
I used a mix of Freepik and Googles' Whisk to manipulate and create unique images and used ChatGPT to create new text content when needed.

The abstract images I chose for this project were really captivating and beautiful. I remember posting this hero section early during the dev process and got a good number of positive reactions from clients on socials.

I was one of the first people to use Whisk when it came out, and I must say even back then it was impressive. The images in this section are all AI generated, but they fit perfectly and elevate the design.

A simple set of pricing cards with clear CTA's, 3d shapes to give it that sleek feel and a list of tier features to give the visitor enough information to make their decision.

Easy to read and fill form with custom checkbox and radio buttons I customized using custom CSS. Designed the gradient myself. It turned out great.

Bookings
I installed Amelia plugin (Pro version) to allow users to book studio sessions for (Photography, Podcast recording or Video creation). Integrated with Paystack to enable online secure payments. Session and availability management handled on the backend via Amelia. Brand customizations done with CSS.

Impact
The website was delivered on time for the studio launch and it helped attract clients on socials. They also receive a lot of studio bookings on their website, which means both objectives were accomplished. I got some merch from Adeola after the project was completed. Whenever I wear it, it brings a smile to my face.
